TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Preaching given by Sri Vidurji to Dhritrashta in which interpretation of a best man is found.

After following the self-occupation upto a certain age, he who becomes unconcerned and understands the world as a home of sorrow and hold the Almighty GOD in his heart by entering the Sanyas Ashram (the last of the four stage of life stated in Hindu Religion), is known as the Best Man.

To be of GOD and to dedicate ourselves to GOD should be the aim of human life before reaching its end. But it is not possible suddenly in the end, such practice should be started in mid stage of life.

GIST FOR ALL REILIGION
  1. The ultimate aim of human life should be to dedicate ourself to GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - When Dhritrasht, Gandhari and Vidurji left home for hermit, and Dharmraj Yudhishthir was saddened due to it , he was soothed by Devarshi Naradji with the above words.

Point to note here is that we should not grieve on being separated from anyone (whether by death or any other reason) because the whole world is in the hands of the LORD and the separation and union happens with His wish.

Another thing, all the universe and their ombudsman obey the order of GOD and perform their task according to it. All the universe is bound by order of the LORD and all follow His orders.

GIST FOR ALL REILIGION
  1. The separation and union happen with GOD’s wish and therefore the wise men do not grieve upon separation.
  2. The entire universe is bound and guided by the orders of Almighty GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Devarshi Naradji’s preaching to Dharmraj Yudhishthirji.

Inside and outside of every creature there is only self-illuminative GOD. Another meaning is that there is nothing in the world except the GOD. GOD is the soul of all soul bearers. That is why all the saints percepted this truth and Goswami Tulsidasji wrote in SriRamcharit Manasji that I see this whole world as Rammaya (Full of GOD).

GOD’s illusion manifests the world in many forms and colors. That is why when saints removed the layer of illusion, they saw only GOD and GOD.

This fact is important to understand that other than GOD there is nothing, only then true love for GOD will surface in our heart.

GIST FOR ALL REILIGION
  1. Apart from the omnipresent GOD, whatever else we see is all illusion. It is GOD and only GOD everywhere.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Words said by Dharmraj Yudhishthirji to his brother Bheemsenji.

Pandavas acquired their entire property and empire by LORD's grace and due to the guidance of LORD. GOD saved the honor of Bhagwati Draupadi. He protected the Pandavas in lakshagrah (Palace made of wax) and in other places. GOD protected the clan and child of Pandavas when He protected Sri Parikshitji by entering the womb. Pandavas victory over their rivals was only possible due to the contiguity of GOD. Pandavas did good deeds under the guidance of GOD as a result of which they acquired the right to enter heaven and other similar places.

Dharmraj Yudhishthirji believes that all above things was only possible due to GOD’s grace. Similarly whatever positives happens in our life, we should also treat it as the outcome of GOD’s grace.

GIST FOR ALL REILIGION

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Arjunji said the above words when the LORD completed the purpose of His incarnation as ShriKrishnaji and went back to His self-dwelling. Arjunji was shaken due to his disunion with GOD.

This was because Arjunji’s mighty power was due to GOD. He remembers each and every incident of his life and his experience of the GOD’s grace in them. He won Bhagwati Draupadi’s swayamvar (an ancient process to select groom) by GOD’s will. After being trapped in fire in Khandav forest he was saved by GOD who swallowed the fire. GOD saved the honor of Bhagwati Draupadi and punished Kaurava’s for their indignity. GOD protected Pandavas from the wrath of sage Durvasa by providing him and his disciples food just by eating a leaf. By the grace of GOD, Arjunji received lots of weapons from the deities. Only because of GOD’s grace Arjunji went to heaven with human body and received the honor of sitting with Devraj Indra in half of his throne.

Arjunji relates all the events of his life to the grace of GOD. We should also develop such sight which is capable of seeing GOD’s grace in every positive event of our life.

GIST FOR ALL REILIGION

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Arjunji remembers GOD’s grace when GOD completed the purpose of His incarnation as ShriKrishnaji and went back to His self-dwelling.

In the army of Kauravas there were supreme fighters like Bheeshm, Karna, Dron, Shalya, Bhurishrawa, Susharma and Jayadratha. Arjunji remembers that GOD while sitting in his chariot as charioteer snatched the age, wisdom, enthusiasm and strength of Kauravas fighters only by His mere sight. Those fighters fired such weapons on Arjunji that were never destined to fail but because of GOD’s influence those weapons did not harm Arjunji.

It was a huge sea of Kaurav fighters but by sitting on a chariot of GOD’s grace Arjunji easily crossed it.

We can also perform any work smoothly, howsoever big it may be, by earning GOD’s grace.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - While returning from Shri Dwarkaji the Gops defeated Shri Arjunji in the route like a helpless creature.

At that time the LORD had concluded the ShriKrishna incarnation and had returned to His self dwelling. When Shri Arjunji was defeated by the Gops he came to know that his power, gallantry and courage was only and only because of GOD. As the LORD returned to His self dwelling Arjunji lost his power, gallantry and courage. His same Gandiva bow, same arrows, same chariot, same horses and same Arjunji, against whom even kings leaned in a moment, were now a zero and therefore he had to lean before the ordinary Gops.

If there is any enormous talent inside us then we should treat it as the grace of GOD and should not be feel proud of self earning the talent.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - One of my favorite verses stating the glory of devotion.

Here there are two signals in context of devotion. Firstly, that the devotion is increased by the contemplation of the LORD. The more time we devote in contemplation of the LORD, our devotion gets more stronger. So we should increase the time of our life in contemplation of the LORD.

Secondly, the more devotion germinates within us, the more our disorders came out. It is a unique theory that as the devotion develops within us, the evils within us becomes weak and are finally destroyed. Devotion basically takes us nearer to GOD and to make us eligible, it destroys the evils within us. We can check how strong our devotion is, by evaluating how many disorders and evils within us were destroyed.

GIST FOR ALL REILIGION
  1. The time spend in contemplation of the LORD make our devotion stronger.
  2. As the devotion germinates in us, it destroys our inner evils and disorders.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Here we find an affirmation of the fact that freedom from rebirth comes by devotion.

From the cycle of 840 million births and rebirths, the only recourse to give us salvation is the devotion of GOD. This fact is corroborated here through Bhagwati Kunti. Life of Bhagwati Kunti was filled with GOD’s devotion and because of it she got salvation after leaving her human body and she also earned the freedom from the cycle of rebirths for forever.

Devotion is so simple but its caliber is so great.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - An inspirational verse which shows us the right way.

It must not be considered that we've got everything after attaining all the earthy benefits of life. Still one ultimate manhood remains i.e. Devotion of GOD.

Pandavas received such a big kingdom, so much temporal happiness which we cannot imagine. By the grace of GOD they received the kingdom of the whole earth, immense wealth, grandeur and opulence and compatibility of family relationships. No earthly benefits was left for them to achieve in their life. Even in such a situation, they found their ultimate manhood in devoting their heart in GOD.

There are many manhoods in this world but the ultimate manhood is to dedicate ourselves to GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Saint Sri Shounakji said the above words to Sri Sootji while listening to the pastimes of the LORD.

Saint Shounakji only wanted to listen to the pastimes of GOD because he knew that other things are meaningless from which no benefit is derived. By doing so we only waste our age. The sages and devotees hold this vision and therefore they do not engage in worldly things and only wants to speak and listen about the Almighty GOD so that their act of listening and speech purifies them.

But the ordinary people waste their human life in watching, listening and speaking meaningless things.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Verse ridiculing on voluptuary creature and also stating the purpose of human life.

Human life is not for running after the voluptuary things. Human can never be satisfied by the fulfillment of voluptuary things and therefore continues doing so throughout his the life. He is continuously engaged in the cycle of voluptuary things. Such creatures are referred as “Mandbhagya” ( not fortunate) and their acts are labelled as age wasting works.

Remembrance, meditation and worship of GOD by abandoning the voluptuary things is considered to be the true purpose of human life.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - When King Parikshit went on Digvijay (an ancient practice in which kings went out with troops around the surrounding counties and states to include them in their kingdom by winning them by power and strength) he heard the goodwill of his ancestor Pandavas throughout the countries he visited.

The goodwill of the Pandavas was only due to GOD. Pandavas received the glory only because of GOD and because of this known fact there was the all round discussion of GOD’s grace on the Pandavas. Pandavas devotion towards GOD was also a point of discussion everywhere.

Each and every glory earned by Pandavas was marked by GOD’s grace. There was ample grace of GOD on Pandavas and King Parikshit was aware of this fact. He was very pleased to hear it in this context and his eyes got wet with tears of love towards GOD.

We should also earn GOD’s grace in our life and if it so happens we should feel dignified and blessed.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - When King Parikshit went on digvijay (an ancient practice in which kings went out with troops around the surrounding counties and states to include them in their kingdom by winning them by power and strength) he came to hear the parable of GOD’s blessings on his ancestor Pandavas.

He heard that Pandavas was in great trouble and many difficulties came towards them. But they kept holding the hands of GOD and because of it they escaped from every trouble. Pandavas earned GOD’s grace in their entire lifespan and the result was that the LORD brought the whole world at the feet of Pandavas. Those who spited Pandavas were finished. The rest of the kings of the earth became the subject of Pandavas. By the GOD’s grace Pandavas received the absolute control of the entire earth.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - GOD incarnate on earth to remove iniquity. This is one of the reasons for GOD’s incarnation.

Another reason which is the biggest one is that after incarnation He does delightful pastimes. These pastimes are sung and heard for ages. The singing and hearing of the pastimes lead to attainment of salvation.

Therefore we should also listen to these delightful pastimes of Almighty GOD. This is an excellent means of attaining salvation, which we often tend to ignore.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - This verse is very dear to me because before this verse a list of thirty nine qualities is given and GOD is considered as the sustainer of all these qualities.

The qualities are as follows. Truth, Purity, Mercy, Forgiveness, Sacrifice, Contentment, Simplicity, Labor, Strength, Meditation, Endurance, Desuetude, Scripture views, Knowledge, Recluseness, Grandeur, Bravery, Glow, Power, Memory, Independence, Skills, Shine, Patience, Softness, Fearlessness, Docility, Modesty, Courage, Excitement, Luck, Seriousness, Stability, Deism, Fame and Glory.

All the above qualities find shelter in GOD so when we reach closer to GOD by the means of devotion, these qualities automatically start residing inside us. It is the result of LORD’s company that seeds of these qualities start germinating inside us automatically.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Dharma (Religion) introduced Mother Earth in cow form to king Parikshit ji and said the above words.

Here two things are important. First, GOD has taken the responsibility to shed the load Mother Earth. This fact is also endorsed in Srimad Bhagwat Geetaji in GOD’s divine words.

Second thing, because of GOD’s incarnation on earth and by the footprint of GOD due to His roaming, the Earth becomes energetic and privileged. Vraja Mandal (A place where LORD did the pastimes in His incarnation as SriKrishna) is a live example which is most revered and sacred place because of footprints of GOD’s divine feet.

All the LORD’s pastime places on earth are supreme revered and sacred. There should always be a special place for them in our hearts.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - The fear of death is very large and it affects everyone. All are frightened when their last moment approaches them.

But for the devotee who is fully devoted to GOD, even the dangerous fear of death cannot frighten him. Because he knows very well that he has received GOD’s company in his lifetime so even after his death GOD will be with him. This was the only reason that King Parikshit was not perplexed to lose his life after bitten by Takshak (a snake).

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Fascination which happens in the final stage of life does not let us free and it becomes the reason of our rebirth.

Man is engaged in fascination for worldly activities throughout his life and gets confused in this fascination trap. At the end of his life he should be fascination free, for his welfare is only possible in such situation but it does not happen and fascination traps him till his end.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - When devotees of GOD meet together, they discuss about the divine qualities and pastimes of GOD. Satsang (Godly discourse) means association with Truth means GOD (as GOD is the only truth).

The glory of Satsang (Godly discourse) is even more than heaven and salvation. There is no comparison of it with the worldly indulgence of human life .

This fact is rendered in the immortal verse of Sri RamcharitManas ji where it is said that on one side of the balance scale, luxury of heaven (human luxury is considered too small to be counted here) and on the other side if we keep Satsang (Godly discourse) then the Satsang (Godly discourse) side will be heavier.
