TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Verse showing the effect of Holy discourse and devotion in sages.

By associating with Holy discourse and devotion, the sages are so much purified that even they purify the Holy Shrines. Shrines also feel proud when the sages visit there.

GOD’s association fills so much purity in our heart and immaculate us, which is not possible by any other recourse.

GIST FOR ALL REILIGION

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - King Parikshitji said the above statement to Devarshi, Brahmarshi and Rajarishis in his last time.

The point to remember here is that he expressed his wish of developing love for GOD in his future lives. Our life is blessed only if we have love for GOD and have affection in the divine feet of GOD.

But we love this world, which is wrong. By doing so we are continuously engaged in illusion and fascination. Saints only love GOD. Their supreme shelter is only in the divine feet of GOD.

GIST FOR ALL REILIGION

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - King Parikshitji asked two questions to the son of Vyas Shri Shukdevji. Firstly what a being should do every time and secondly what should be done in the last stage of life.

Son of Vyas Shri Shukdevji replied the two questions in a single answer that the person should listen, sing and remember the pastimes of Almighty GOD.

He said that a man’s life is spent in his work, the night is spent in sleeping or with his wife, the day is spent in earning money and in fulfilling the daily needs of his family. At the end of his life upon his deathbed still he is not awakened.

The company of the LORD is an indicator of human welfare. We should try to achieve GOD’s company in human life.

GIST FOR ALL REILIGION

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - It is assumed that in last time whatever expressions are in our mind we get the same result. So according to the opinion expressed in Holy scriptures, in the final stages of life, we should try that our mind should only be engaged in GOD.

This must be practiced compulsorily in the starting or in the mid stage of life otherwise it is very difficult to do so at the end time. So we should make it a rule to regularly remember and worship GOD.

We should continuously increase time in our life for GOD so that in the last stage a big part of time is spent in remembering and worshipping GOD. Thus while leaving this body GOD’s remembrance may be retain in our mind and thus we are freed from the cycle of rebirth.

GIST FOR ALL REILIGION

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Verse alerting the misguided creatures from the purpose of human life.

We are often unaware of our life welfare means and remain inattentive. We do not try in this direction. We are embroiled into vain things. Worldliness, fascination and illusion is implicated in our lives.

Thus our long life is wasted. We do not get any benefit of such age and such human life because human life is meant for attaining salvation.

Intelligent persons give the highest importance to their welfare means in their life.

With the help of mind and intelligence we should remove our senses from desires. When this happens, our heart which is full of desires will become quiet. We should devote our calm mind in GOD’s delighted form.

What a beautiful way is shown here which we often ignore and a major blunder is committed by us in our last time.

GIST FOR ALL REILIGION

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - This verse tells us that GOD must be the core of our contemplation and perception.

The basis of our perception is GOD and thus only GOD should be present in our notion and perception. GOD is only worthy to be in our perception and thoughts. Only GOD had been considered as the original form of our perceptions.

Therefore we must contemplate any of the incarnations of the LORD, or contemplate any of the divine organs of the LORD. Except GOD, nothing else is worth putting our attention to.

But in Kaliyug (modern era), many new definitions of contemplation and perception has come forward. People are being misled by making them perceive and contemplate on things other than GOD. But the Holy scriptures say that only GOD should be the core of our contemplation and perception and nothing else.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - This verse conveys us two facts.

Firstly, one should offer prayer and sing praises of GOD and only GOD because He is the only form of reality and truth, rest is all false. LORD is the provider of absolute pleasure. LORD is the only source of absolute pleasure.

Secondly, one should not be attached to any entities or relations. This kind of attachment leads to our downfall. Because attachment in worldly entities alienates us from GOD. As we move away from GOD, we are destined to fall.

GIST FOR ALL REILIGION

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - In this world creature wanders wishing that his dreams of happiness are fulfilled. He keeps the desires of happiness in all his behavior. He has the desire of achieving happiness by each and every behavior.

But he doesn't get true happiness anywhere in this world which is affected by illusion. Because true happiness does not exist in this world. We try to locate happiness in the wrong place and therefore keep wondering for a lifetime.

True happiness is in GOD’s devotion, it is in GOD’s company. Saints have experienced that highest state of happiness and had given it the name of “Anand” and “Paramanand”.

Anything apart from GOD is deemed fit for renouncing, that is why Yogi person concentrates their meditation and contemplation only on GOD. They don't allow their soul to distract anywhere and assume that anything apart from GOD is to be renounced.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Verse stating about listening, chanting and remembering GOD. In this verse three things deserve attention.

The first thing “Every time”, the second thing “In all situations” and the third thing “With full power”. We should listen, chant and remember GOD “Every time”. Along with daily activities and worldliness, remembrance of GOD and chanting of GOD name must continue inside our heart. Saints have received such situation that their inside chanting is continuous regardless of whatever activity they are doing outside. Second thing, this must be “In all situations”. It is wrong that we remember GOD in unfavorable conditions and forget Him in favorable times. This fact is rendered in a famous psalm - Whether you live in any country, or uniform or in any circumstances, whether you live in any era, or in any state or in any condition utter LORD’s name- Radharaman, Radharaman and only Radharaman. The third thing is that this must be done “With full power”. We use our full power in earning money but we seldom use our full power in listening, chanting and remembering GOD.

Those creatures who listens, chants and remember GOD “Every time”, “In all conditions” and “With full power”, such creatures achieves blessedness in their life and receives salvation upon death.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - Hearing the pastime of the LORD gives us two advantages, this fact is rendered here.

The first advantage is that the toxic effect of desires is destroyed from our heart. Our heart is stuck in toxical desires. By listening of GOD’s pastimes, the effect of toxical desires is destroyed.

The second advantage is that the listening of GOD’s pastimes enables us to surrender to GOD’s divine lotus feet.

We should contemplate this double advantage in our life and should make it a rule of listening to GOD’s pastimes.

We should worship GOD with intense devotion for desirelessness, strenuousness and salvation. For all these three, desirelessness, strenuousness and salvation there is only one path and that is of the path of devotion. The devotion must be intensive, as explained here.

Intensive devotions is the only mean for achieving strenuous desires, on being devoid of any desires and for salvation.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - This amazing verse stating the effects of Satsang (discourse on GOD and companionship of devotees). We will not get such beautiful explanation at one place as to what is the effect of Satsang.

By Satsang the rare spiritual knowledge is achieved which pacify the surges of the worldly ocean. Because of Satsang the heart is purified and it is filled with ecstasy. Because of Satsang the attachment of our organs in desires also vanishes. Satsang leads us to the universally accepted path of salvation, which is the path of Bhaktiyog (Devotion). Because of Satsang we start loving GOD.

In the interpretation of Satsang, interpretation of Bhaktiyog (Devotion) is also hidden. Universally accepted fact is that the only path that leads to salvation is the path of devotion.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - One of my favorite verse which warns us about destroying our age wastefully in worldly activities.

It is assumed that the time span of our age which we are not using in singing or listening to the virtues of GOD is totally wasted. It is because the time spent in singing or listening the virtues of GOD only gives us fruit. Only such act is assumed as the act of manhood. We do not get any benefit from the time spent in worldly or vain activities.

After performing our self duties whatever time is left, we should devote that time in listening or singing the virtues of GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - A satirical verse which alerts us from interfering in vain worldliness because we waste most of our time in vain worldliness.

It is said in the verse that even after receiving human life we did not listen the pastimes of GOD then such human life is like an animal life which is worse than that of a dog, pig and ass.

The human life is best utilized by listening to the pastimes of GOD by virtue of which immense devotion towards GOD develops from inside. Whosoever is not doing so is living an animal life. It is the opinion of the Holy scriptures.

We waste so much time in vain worldliness and vain things, and still we are unaware of it.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - A satirical verse which is also my favorite because its simile is unique.

Those ears which doesn’t listen to the divine tales of GOD, are like a burrow. As in the snake’s burrow there is a hole similarly our ears also contains a hole, with the help of which we hears. If we don’t use our ears in hearing the divine tales of GOD, then they are like the hole of the burrow because we did not use its listening power properly.

Similarly if we do not take the divine name of GOD from our tongue and use it in vain talks then it is a waste like the tongue of a frog which utters vain noise.

What a perfect analysis with the help of exact simile. We should purify our ears by listening to the divine tales of GOD and should purify our voice by taking the divine name of GOD.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - A satirical verse which contains two satires.

The head which does not bow in front of the divine lotus feet of GOD is just a load, it doesn’t matter that how well equipped or important it is. The head which does not bow to GOD is of no use.

Similarly such hands which are not ready to serve GOD even if they are equipped with the gold ornaments are similar to the hand of a dead body.

We must develop such habits that our head must bow in front of divine lotus feet of GOD. We should adopt such practices in our life that our hands must serve GOD. Then only our redemption is possible otherwise both of these organs of our body are just the body burdens and nothing else.

TRANSLATION OF WRITE-UP IN ENGLISH - A satirical verse which I love because in these there is a satire on two of the main body parts i.e. the Eyes and Legs.

Those eyes which cannot see the things which are related to GOD and lead us to remember GOD like the statue of GOD, pastime place of GOD like pilgrimage etc, those eyes are like the eyes which are created on the feather of a peacock, which cannot see and so is a waste.

Those legs which are capable of walking but do not walk to the pastime place of GOD like pilgrimage, do not go to the temples of GOD are like trees which are non movable.
